BBO exists because the science behind human connection and communication deserves a wider audience than a journal subscription allows. We need researchers who can help us get the translation right, and who want a public home for the findings.

Every claim on BBO traces back to published, peer-reviewed research. As the library grows, so does a living map of what is known, what is contested, and what still needs study.
Research micro-grants
As we grow, small grants will fund studies in BBO's focus areas: communication, presence, and skill development in an AI-saturated world. Findings shared openly, not locked behind a paywall.
A community to learn from
Founding members are already sharing what worked and what didn't. That lived experience is a signal researchers rarely get access to at this scale.
